My13 Palm Springs
Prime Time Programming
MyNetwork’s
new Fall Prime Time Shows are destined for popularity.
This year’s mix of sports, reality shows,
and movies will make the network a factor in every
market across the country. From Monday through
Sunday, My13 TV, KPSE Palm Springs, brings you
some truly exciting and interesting program choices.
Monday
starts the prime time week with Celebrity
Exposé – Behind the scenes
in Hollywood and Control Room Presents
– Performances by America’s favorite
rock, pop, and R&B artists. Monday is MyNet’s
entertainment night with something for everyone.
Tuesday
nights will premier 2 new back to back reality
crime shows – The Academy from 8:00-9:00pm
and Jail from 9:00-10:00pm. You’ve seen
’em do the crime, now see ’em get
the time. From John Langley, producer of the groundbreaking
Cops, comes the next big law enforcement reality
series Jail. Shot on location
in cities across the U.S., Jail follows prison
inmates from their initial booking through their
first moments behind bars. Each episode captures
the harsh and sometimes humorous reality of what
happens to criminals after they’re caught.
A
MyNetwork Reality Original, The Academy
provides an unprecedented look at the training
academy of the largest sheriff’s department
in the nation. Not every recruit has what it takes
to become a Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff,
but all will have their lives changed by the experience.
110 recruits. 18 grueling weeks. Earning a badge
comes at a personal cost – but it’s
the only way to train. Raw. Arresting. Real..
On
Wednesday nights, Judge Lynn Toler will be hosting
MyNet’s new show Decision House
from 8:00-9:00pm, being produced by Jay
McGraw. Compassion, one of Judge Toler’s
key attributes, will indeed be necessary in her
new role here. The couples who choose to enter
"Decision House" live under 24 hour
surveillance for three days, as they move through
tasks and exercises designed to save their failing
relationships. In the end, a panel lead by Judge
Toler will decide the future's couple, recommending
that they either stay together or part ways.
Forget
having to impress the date of your dreams -- first
you have to pass parental inspection in our new
one-hour reality game show-Meet The Folks
from 9:00-10:00pm. In the first episode,
three eligible bachelors spend three days with
their potential Miss Right -- and her family in
their home. During the course of the long weekend,
each contestant’s character and intentions
are put to the test through a series of revealing
conversations and interactions with the parents
of their potential love match. The ultimate victor
will enjoy a week in Hawaii with the woman of
his dreams – if he gets her family’s
blessings.
Thursday
and Friday nights, MyNetwork returns to its popular
MyNet Movies. Again this season,
we will be bringing our viewers some of America’s
most popular recent movies. You’ll be able
to catch everything from drama to comedy, family
favorites to action packed thrillers. MyNet has
it all every week with titles like Throw Mama
from The Train, Desperately Seeking Susan, Crazy
In Alabama, and The Lady Killers, to name a few.

in for some pre-weekend entertainment –
only on My13 TV – KPSE Palm Springs. See
you at the movies.
Saturday
Nights feature 2 great sports shows. The first
hour hosted by 2006 Sports Emmy nominee Rich Eisen,
former NFL MVP Marshall Faulk and 11-time Pro
Bowler Rod Woodson, NFL Network Total
Access will preview the upcoming weekend’s
action, and feature segments from NFL Network’s
top shows, interviews with players and coaches,
and game highlights.
Reporter and NFL insider Adam Schefter

news and up to the minute reports on all 32 teams.
NFL Vice President of Officiating Mike Pereira
will contribute his "Official Review"
segment, providing viewers insight into the close
calls from the preceding weekend’s action.
Other regular contributors will include: college
football guru Mike Mayock and college football
expert Charles Davis. Former players Terrell Davis
and Jamie Dukes will serve as analysts to give
a player’s perspective on NFL issues.
IFL
Battleground follows Total Access. The
International Fight League is the world’s
first team-based mixed martial arts league. In
each team contest, two squads of five fighters
-- each trained by a veteran coach -- compete
in individual bouts across five weight. The team
that wins at least three of these five matches
gets the victory, with the top four teams at the
end of the regular season moving on to the playoffs.
The post-season culminates with the World Team
Championships, pitting the league’s two
best teams against one another with the IFL Championship
Ring on the line. Saturday is an encore presentation
in case you missed any of the exciting action
from Monday or simply want to watch the action
all over again.
